I am a singer/actor and l was wondering if eating green apples really does help your singing voice. l have an audition in a couple weeks and l was just curious as to what might help. Thanks in advance!

First off, there is no such thing as a food that will ''help'' ur voice. When u eat something, it goes down ur esophagus & makes no contact with ur voicebox or windpipe (if it did, you'd find yourself choking to death). The only way to really help ur voice is to sing with proper technique.
The only thing a food can really do is effect the production of phlem in ur throat, either with acidic foods that dry ur voice out or milky foods that make u produce more phlem. And even then, different people will react differently to each food; one person might find that drinking a glass of milk will make their throat so full of phlem they can not sing properly, while another might find it to be the perfect remedy for a dry & scratchy voice.
Apples have a bit of an acidic quality, so they might help clear any phlem out of ur throat, they might make u too dry, or they might not do much of anything.
