If anyone knew, l was wondering if it would be easier for me to be an actress or model in the philipenes, seeing as im half Filipena and half white. l know im pretty and have a different look, so l was planning on going to a acting school there. But when im done the acting school, where would l have to start for acting and modeling? (i can also sing) please do not tell me l wont make it, because l know exactly how hard it is. l will be starting in between the age of 15-18 if that helps.

Unless you move to NYC or LA, local market agent require you to be able to read commercial copy and model. Where as in NYC or LA there are different agencies and agents with in a big agency that handles models and everything else.
Do not limit yourself do as much as you can and you will work all the time

it really depends on what market you're in. Do u actually live in the phillipines or in the states? l know that here if u have more of a commercial look the best place for u to model is in California, NYC for editorial. l am not completely sure, but in places like the philipenes & europe usually go for a more editorial look..Your height is also something that goes into consideration. If you're on the shorter side you're most likely going to be put in the commercial markets, but if you're taller u can do commercial, editorial.whatever..It really depends on the agencies though..Look some of them up in ur area & give them call. See what their requirements r & if ur parents let you..send them a few snapshots. It is usually easier to start a modeling & acting career in you'r home state & then move on to bigger agencies when you've had more experience but sometimes u can get lucky with the big names right away.
