ok so my teacher wants me to write a play on gossip and rumours.....theres 12 ppl doing it

any ideas??

you will not write a play,which has requirements you and maybe your teacher never heard of, you will write a skit. you already have the idea, gossip and rumors, so get to work. Create a situation, a starting place and follow it to the end.

Go with your own personal experiences first. If you have none, ask others about what they've been through, and then find a way to interpret that into a play. Never use real people is names, and create back stories for every character. Do not use people is stories without asking them first, or you could hurt them.

You could go with a family feud drama thing (i.e. Romeo and Juliet, Costas and Lena, Tony and Maria type deal)

Perhaps some friends betraying each other through ''gossip'' that escalates and causes something dramatic like a big fist fight.

WRITE ABOUT SOME MEAN GIRLS AT SCHOOL. =]

Write a little skit where a student goes to school & has to wqrite a play..opps a skit & everything for the next two days happens to keep her from writing it, bike accident & u book bag was mixed up at the hospital, ur father accidentally threw ur papers away & u had to go trash digging, ( actually have some paper with coffee stains) u mother used it to line the bottom of the bird cage, You brother or sister use a sheet to make paper airplanes, tehn u had writers block & chewed on a few & at the end get mad, l guess l didnt get it done so just get it over with & give me the darn E
